Persuade (verb) - to convince someone to do something; to use an argument to get someone to agree with you. Ex. Emily persuaded her parents to let her go outside before finishing her homework because she told them her brain needed a break from her schoolwork.

Activity of the Day:

Make up a dance routine or a music video for your favorite song – Show off your favorite moves or lip-sync and pretend you’re the singer. If there is more than one child in your family, you can each have different roles – singers, dancers, musicians, etc. Mom or Dad can be your camera person.
