Quote of the Day:

“Tell me and I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand” - Chinese Proverb

Word of the Day:

Momentous (adjective) - very important. Ex. “Catching a baseball at the Red Sox game was a momentous occasion for Billy because it was the first one he had ever caught.”

Resource of the Day:

National Geographic Kids https://kids.nationalgeographic.com/

Activity of the Day:

Treasure Hunt – an adult can make clues and hide them around the room for you to find and follow until you get to the "treasure." Older kids can make clues for their siblings and take turns hiding them around the room for the other person to follow. Example clue “I'm filled with feathers or other soft fluff. To sleep without me can be quite tough.” The treasure could be anything from a snack to movie time or there doesn't have to be any treasure at all, it’s just fun to go on a little adventure.  The following website has samples of riddles for hiding places for the clues: https://www.thespruce.com/indoor-treasure-hunt-for-children-1695332 and remember that you want to put the clue in the spot before the place it describes.
